Color Me RAD

Color Me Rad Run
November 10, 2012

Some friends from the ward  (Lexi and Kristin) & I decided to run this 5K back in August. We signed up and had plans to run together still but school and I guess just life got away and we were all busy so we never got together to run. We all still ran on our own but not together like we used to. That morning we woke up to SNOW in Cedar. Great, huh!! The run was in St. George at the old airport but because it was on a hill it was windy and cold still. There were so many people for this run. They had 5 different groups go before us and there were still people that went after too.
We did great running the whole thing (except for the color stations)
When we were almost done we saw Kyle and Trevor (Kristin's husband) and they met us at the finish line.
We had so much fun running...This was the first 5k I have ran that I didn't feel like I was going to die. :)
I guess it does help to "train" in a higher altitude.
After the run we headed over to Lexi's Parent's house to shower and clean up and then headed to Outback Steakhouse to have lunch. Kyle and I then headed back up to Cedar and relaxed and then went and saw Trouble with a Curve at the discount theater. We went with Dallon and Kaitlin. I was a great movie...chickflick enough for me and enough baseball for Kyle.

Closing out October

October 15, 2012
We went to my family's ward and listened to Colton talk in Sacrament meeting. We then headed to Abigail's for a bit then went over to the Teerlink's for a yummy lunch. Thanks to Abigail for taking pictures :)

Bailey, Colton & Hannah

The next weekend we came down for my dad's 60th birthday party. We had a yummy lunch but then had to head back up to Cedar. Kyle and I had to teach Sunday School.

At the football game Friday night

Happy Birthday Dad

The ice cream cake I made...that turned out to be a flop. It did look yummy for a bit.
I just didn't know it hadn't set up all the way and was practically all melted still.

October 27, 2012
We headed down to Overton for the Halloween pumpkin carving contest. Our pumpkin didn't turn out very like I thought it would but everyone still got pretty much the same prize :)
After carving pumpkins and eating we went over to the Jack's to make smores and then watched Dark Shadows. I fell asleep...surprise surprise. When the movie was over it was only like 9 ish and it felt so late because it had been dark for so long.

This just makes me laugh...They were trying to find a hat for Taylor because his bald head was cold.

Randall, Lori and Kayla

Kyle won't be happy when he sees this, but you can often find him sitting like this :)
He'll deny it but it is true!

These were some pictures from their engagements and her bridals.

The wedding day pictures aren't in order or the best quality but this is what I have :)

Gage in his fancy tuxedo

The boys waiting to start...

Kayla's cousin sang while they walked down

Gage was the "ring bearer" but he had a sign that said, " Uncle Trav here comes your  girl"
It was super cute...not many people thought he would cooperate as well as he did :)

Here she comes...

Friday Oct. 12

On Friday I got off work early so we could go to Las Vegas for Travis and Kayla's dress rehearsal  Kyle was  one of the groomsmen. We left at 12:30 and then rode down with Randall & Lori to Vegas from Overton. (it was nice to save gas money) After the rehearsal we went to the dinner at Lucille's in Henderson. It reminded me of Texas with all the yummy food. After the dinner we rushed back to the valley to watch the football game and support Lindsay who was cheering. They were actually playing V V so we got to see Jared play too. :) The game was a whopper...those poor Bulldogs. They lost pretty bad. After the game we went over to Mike & Cheryl's to help finish up the cupcakes for the reception. They all looked so yummy I wanted to try all the different flavors but we had to wait till the next day. They had made; Smores, carrot, red velvet, vanilla bean, and german chocolate. We didn't get done with everything till about mid-night and I was ready for bed!! Plus, we all knew it was going to be a long day the next day.

Half time...Lindsay is in there somewhere. I think the far right base.
