July 24th waiting for the fireworks to go off, but never did. It was so cold and rainy. I forgot a jacket and so Kyle was nice enough to share :)

Cascade Falls

Thursday 7-21-2011
Thursday after work Kyle and I went on a hike up to Cascade Falls up Cedar Mountain. One of his mission buddies invited us to go with a bunch of other people. The scenery was so beautiful and it was a good night!
We went down to the water...pretty, Huh.

Summer Fun

Love this picture. Waiting for the show to start.
These last couple of weeks have been the best of the best...Work has been going great and I'm working 6-3 in the morning. The last couple nights I have worked and then went straight to the daycare. Those days are usually really long. If I hear Fireflies and Party in the USA one more time I really think I'll go crazy. I hear those two songs at work WAY too much. This last week went by so fast with work so it's been good.
On Friday, Kyle and I went down to St. George to Tuacahn to see the Little Mermaid. I loved it and was so grateful to Randall and Lori. Thanks for the tickets :)
Saturday I picked up my basket. Went to the gym with Hannah and then we just hung out the rest of the day. Made dinner and then went out to Enoch and watched Transformers 2 so now we can watch the 3rd one.

Yup, Naomi is winning. Just needed to document this!

Just being silly!

SMILES!!! SO HAPPY!
Today at church I was doing pretty good. I had a meeting at 8:30 and at about 9:00 I found out I wasn't going to be in the same ward. I knew that the 6th ward was going to be getting new people but I didn't know they were putting Stonebrook apartments in another ward. So now I'm in the 10th ward and not the Relief Society President. I don't know what I'm going to do on Sundays without all my meetings. I wasn't very happy at first but there's always change and I need to get used to it.  Then I got so spend the rest of the day with Kyle. We played Speed and I totally kicked some butt...Just kidding he won a couple of them. It's always fun to be silly and just have fun!

Fun in the SUN

Annie and I. She was leaving the next day to Nannie in New Jersey

These next couple of pictures were of the Summer Games Opening Ceremony. Kyle had tickets from work and invited me to go with him. We went to dinner at Cafe Rio and then went over to the football stadium. It was so nice and sunny during the day but it started to get really windy and rainy. It was still really cool. I have lived in Cedar for 4 years and have never been. The fireworks were amazing and they were so close.

This was Father's Day.
I pretty much have the cutest nieces and nephew!!!

I love my Dad....

We went for a walk up the Canyon Trail and then went to Golden Spoon for a treat. :)
Hannah....it was yummy, Right?

Tyson is so white!!

hmm...Pretty cheesy, :) but definitely good times!

This is for your kids to see one day!!

We both had SUU t-shirts on...we have another where we're both wearing our old high school shirts!
JULY 2nd...Bunkerville Water Fight!!!

The pictures are not all in order for the day, but it's ok! :)Thanks for the pictures Hannah and Abigail.

July 4th....
Kyle and I after the fireworks!

For the the Fourth of July I went with my mom into Bunkerville for some of the festivities there. Saw the last of the races and I did the egg toss with Emily. We didn't last very long but it was fun. :) After Bunkerville I went down to Overton to Kyle's parent's house. We went to his grandparent's and his Aunt's house to pick up some stuff for the BBQ. We then played hearts and just hung out with everyone. We then went swimming and played basketball in the Pool. We ate lunch and just talked with everyone. His family is so nice and great people and I had a really good time! Kyle and I then headed back up to Cedar and went and watched the fireworks with Hannah and Tyson. Thanks for sharing your blanket! It was an amazing day! I love days that are full of good people and fun!!!

The Last Couple of Weeks

These last couple of weeks I have just been working at the call center and with the kids who are out for the summer. We have had a couple of fun field trips and fun days at the center. We try to plan fun things and keep the kids busy. It makes time go by so much faster and everyone is happy. :)  The first week of summer for them we planted a garden at the SUU farm, went to artful edibles and the kids got to learn more about cooking, public library, and went fishing.

This last week for work we went down to St.George for a summer bash with the other schools down there. The kids had so much fun and I love days like that because they fly by. We also WALKED to the garden (it's a little over 2 miles there and back) The kids were all really good sports about it but we had a few complainers especially when we got there and nothing had grown yet. One kid said, "we walked all this way just to look at some dirt!" It made me laugh!! When we got back we had water day so the kids got to have a water fight and they loved it. We went to the library again and to the police station. The kids got to see a K-9 dog, got locked up in a holding cell, and got to go in a car. The younger boys all loved it and thought the car was SO cool.

Work is pretty much my life..but other than that, Hannah and Tyson came back so I saw them on Sunday and Monday. Also on Monday I played softball for like 2 hours for FHE. :) That was fun! I actually caught a couple flies but had only one good hit. Hannah also dyed my hair a darker brown that night. Then Tuesday I went over to Stetsy's apartment. She just moved up here :) Wahoo another person to hang out with. Then Wednesday I went with my secretary and did some Relief Society visits for a couple hours then just talked to the bishopric for a while. They are all such funny and entertaining guys. Thursday nothing too special just laundry! On Monday I met a guy (well I already knew of him) from the other valley (Moapa) We were on the same team so we talked a lot and he asked me to go get frozen yogurt at this new place in town Friday night. It was really fun and good to get out of my apartment and just talk. Now I'm finally finishing this up because I'm working and don't have much to do.

FYI: I don't have any pictures of me but lots from work, so this is what you get :)
One of the kids' "creation" Don't you just love the pea buger
