On Kyle's mom's side of the family all of the siblings pitch in and by each newly wed couple a kitchen aid. On Saturday we finally got it. Thanks to Cameron and Kelsey they brought it to us. They also brought us a wedding present from them. They got us a cup-cake balls pan. We had dinner together. Kyle and I made yummy southwest eggrolls with avacado ranch dressing. I have been getting some really good recipes off of pintrest and blogs. On Sunday the 1st after church we decided to try the kitchen aid and cake pan out. The first batch of cup-cake balls didn't turn out too great  but then the next batch was perfect. We just needed to put less batter in each ball. Later that night we went over to our neighbor's apartment and played the kinect (fruit ninja and another game) then word on the street and Likewise. It was really fun with good treats and good people.

Our first picture together at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately it was late that night. I fell asleep before midnight on the 31st and Kyle didn't want to wake me up. I felt bad that he had to celebrate by himself.

Honeymooners...

Kyle's parents were really awesome and helped us get tickets to go see the Lion King in Las Vegas. And part of Christmas they got us a room at the Mandalay Bay. It was so nice not to have to be somewhere and have a million things to do. We had 3 days of relaxing. We went to sacrament meeting on Sunday and actually saw friends Taylor and Megan there. We went to a random ward and they just happened to be there. Then we headed off to Vegas. I took a pill to help so I wouldn't get car sick and fell asleep and then when we got to Vegas I slept for about another 4 hours. It was the pills fault!! Then we got ready to go see the Lion King. It was so amazing!!! The people were all so talented and all the animals were amazing.
Then on Monday we went to the Galleria Mall and did some shopping but mostly just walking around. Then took a nap and walked down to the Bellagio to watch the water show. Tuesday went to the Las Vegas Temple and did sealings then came back up to Cedar and went to Wal-Mart to get things to finish setting up our apartment.

Kyle's FAMOUS

I would never just post pictures of an actor off of the Twilight movies but there is a reason and purpose for this. These pictures are of the actor who plays Seth Clearwater- one of the wolves from the movie.
So here's the story behind these pictures...


This last weekend we went to my cousin David's funeral in Lehi, Utah. Kyle and I were sitting in the back and Kyle noticed this girl who kept looking  behind her shoulder at him. She would look at him then whisper to the guy she was with, nod her head and look back at him. When the services were over this girl (who by the way isn't just a teenage girl. She had to be in her 20's) came up to Kyle and said, I'm sorry I kept staring at you but you look so familiar. I couldn't figure out where I'd seen you and then it hit me (When she said that I was thinking oh, this must be someone he went to school with earlier...but that's not what she said at all) You're one of the wolves off of the Twilight movies huh." Kyle didn't know what to say...he should have played a long but he just said, "no, that wasn't me." There was an awkward silence and I bet the girl felt pretty silly but she just said, "oh well think of it as a compliment, He's famous and really cute."
Just so everyone knows my fiance is a celebrity :) 
When we got back to Cedar that night we had to look up who the girl was talking about and we figured he resembled Seth the most.
